Abstract. During the autumn analysis in both years of the investigations the lowest infestation indices had roots of leaf parsley cv. ‘Festival’. In the first year of the experiments parsley cv. ‘Paramount’ and ‘Natalka’ had the highest number of root infestation both in autumn and spring analysis after winter. Most frequently, isolated from diseased roots of all the tested cultivars, were fungi from genus Alternaria and Fusarium.

Key words: parsley cultivar, fungal diseases, pathogenic fungi

Summary

The experiments on salubrity of different parsley cultivars were carried out in the years 2004 and 2005, based on leaf parsley cultivars: ‘Festival’, ‘Karnaval’, ‘Natalka’ and ‘Paramount’. During the autumn analysis in both years of the investigations the lowest infestation indices had roots of parsley cv. ‘Festival’. Moreover in the first year of experiments parsley cv. ‘Paramount’ and ‘Natalka’ had the highest number of root infestation both in autumn and spring analysis after winter. In the second year of the experiments during the spring analysis there was not statistical significance in salubrity of roots of all the tested cultivars. Most frequently, isolated from the diseased roots of all the tested cultivars, were fungi from genus Alternaria and Fusarium.
